The Principal of the Cavendish Group is
John D. Christensen.
John is a results oriented distribution professional with more than
15 years of international and domestic logistics and supply chain management experience; having extensive experience in consultative traffic management, operations, logistics, import and export trade compliance, claims documentation, all modes of transportation and traffic.
He has substantial experience managing complex distribution operations of fast paced, high growth companies, and is expert in direct and third party marketing distribution. He has strong marketing and contract negotiation skills with forwarders, brokers, carriers, and other global distribution enterprises, along with proven success at developing creative solutions to complex supply chain problems.
John has solid experience secured from industry leaders in building million dollar solutions, and achieving a better Return-on-Investment (ROI) through multi-modal logistic strategies and best practice methodology.
John has a B.S. in International Business, an MBA from the University of Colorado with a focus in Logistics, and additional executive studies at Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Washington and Harvard Business School.
